So she parked in a disabled spot, presumably for hours, because her friend was in labour. Not to help her with labour, mind you, but to babysit her other kid.
And then she felt aggrieved enough to go to the media about it. And stupidly, her fine was eventually waived.
I can pretty much guarantee someone of this ilk routinely parks in handicap parking spots and always has a 'good' reason for doing it. It's very similar to the behaviour a lot of other drivers now demonstrate when perhaps being told their driving might not exactly be up to standard. Which is to abuse the person telling them that.
